Part Time Epidemiologist
Hamilton County Public Health is accepting applications for a Part Time Epidemiologist in the Department of Community Health Services. Requirements include: Master’s Degree in a public health field and one (1) year experience in surveillance, community assessment and planning and/or conducting epidemiological/toxicological studies.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collecting, cleaning and analyzing vital statistics and other health related data. 
  • Managing databases. 
  • Participating in the design, management, and evaluation of surveillance programs. 
  • Coordinating and conducting epidemiologic research/assessments of infant mortality and morbidity as well as other adverse health events. 
  • Assisting with research to evaluate public health practices and to further identify risk factors of infant mortality and other poor birth outcomes. 
  • Developing methods to detect data errors and to improve data quality in the region. 
  • Assisting HCPH partners with program planning as it relates to the field of epidemiology including, but not limited to, data management, statistical analysis and survey design methods.

Registered Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse


Hamilton County Public Health is accepting applications for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the Department of Community Health Services. Requirements include: Ohio RN/Ohio LPN licensure plus one (1) year experience in Public Health or home health.
